Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the Bakeroof SaaS website building platform and storefront services.

1Agreement to Terms

By accessing, browsing, subscribing to, or using Bakeroof ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), available at bakeroof.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you are registering on behalf of a bakery business, company, or commercial establishment, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2Platform Description & Scope of Service

Bakeroof provides a proprietary software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution designed for bakeries and confectionery merchants to create, host, customize, and publish digital catalog storefronts under dedicated subdomains (e.g., yourbakery.bakeroof.com).

Important Notice: Bakeroof is purely a technology software provider. Bakeroof does not prepare food items, bake cakes, handle deliveries, or collect customer food payments. All food products, pricing, hygiene, and fulfillment remain the sole responsibility of the respective bakery merchant.

3Subscription Plans, Pricing & Payments

A. Subscription Tiers: Access to the Bakeroof builder and hosted storefronts is offered via paid subscription plans (including Starter Oven and Master Baker plans), billed across monthly, 6-month, or annual durations.

B. Payment Processing: All subscription fee payments are processed securely in Indian Rupees (INR) via our authorized payment partner, Razorpay. By providing payment details, you authorize us and our payment gateway to charge the applicable subscription fee.

C. Renewals & Expiration: Storefront hosting and bakery dashboard privileges remain active throughout the paid validity period. If a subscription is not renewed upon expiration, the storefront may temporarily become inactive until renewal.

4Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because Bakeroof provides instant software provisioning, immediate digital catalog access, and server allocation upon payment:

  • Subscription fees paid for activated billing periods are non-refundable once the storefront is generated and operational.
  • Bakery owners may cancel their recurring subscriptions at any time before the next billing cycle begins to prevent future charges.
  • In the rare event of a duplicate payment or verified technical billing failure, eligible refunds will be initiated within 5-7 business days to the original payment source.

5Bakery Merchant Obligations & Compliance

As a subscriber and storefront administrator, you agree to:

Maintain valid business licenses (e.g., FSSAI certification in India where applicable).
Provide accurate product details, pricing, allergen warnings, and ingredient disclosures.
Honor customer orders placed through your storefront and communicate truthfully.
Refrain from posting unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory content.

6Intellectual Property Rights

Platform IP: All code, user interfaces, design templates, layouts, trademarks, logos, and technology underlying Bakeroof are the exclusive intellectual property of Bakeroof.

Merchant Content: Bakery merchants retain full ownership of their custom bakery logos, brand names, product photographs, and text descriptions uploaded to the platform.

7Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. In no event shall Bakeroof, its founders, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of business profits, food delivery disputes, customer dissatisfaction with food taste/quality, or third-party WhatsApp service outages.

Bakeroof's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the merchant to Bakeroof during the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Haryana, India.
